The team at Matchmakers Dating have really pulled together during the Coronavirus crisis and have committed to carrying on as normal, as far as we can, as we appreciate that millions of people are in lockdown currently, with many single people at home alone. So we believe its very important to carry on our service at this time, providing matches to existing members and offering our safe, highly personal and caring service to others too. A different kind of service

Our service is very different to most that you would find online, we have offered a highly personal, safe, confidential and comprehensive service to discerning daters since 2006, when we came into existence, that sets us apart from the usual online dating company or mainstream dating app. During that time we have enjoyed many thousands of successes and literally bought thousands of singles together.

We offer what we’d usually describe as a traditional, face to face dating service, where we meet and personally interview every single joiner. During the Coronavirus crisis, we have had to alter our modus operandi to some extent, because of the restrictions of the health crisis, but because of adding the use of video, this has only impacted on us marginally, which we are delighted about.

Our high quality video link is still used for interviewing and as an added feature, our matchmakers introduce all new dates that way too, in a three way video conversation, with the matchmaker bowing out after the first few minutes, to leave the newly introduced couple to chat. Then if they want to take things further, their matchmaker would then, exchange details with each of them, so they can continue to keep in touch and interact with each other, until it is safe to meet in person.

Our processes have evolved

It’s been a welcome addition and extra step to our processes, being welcomed wholeheartedly by most members during the Covid-19 pandemic. With all of the other aspects of our servicing, very much still continuing. These are as follows:

• Every potential new member is interviewed by video link.
• Every new member who joins produces photographic ID.
• All of your dates are carefully checked out via our comprehensive authentication and verification system.
• Every client is portrayed at their absolute best via a professionally created profile.
• Your details are kept totally securely and never will any aspect of your profile or photographs be seen on an online site or dating app.
• You will work with your own dating expert and mentor throughout your membership.
• There is a choice of confidentiality and priority levels.
• Matchmakers concentrates ONLY on younger clients, aged between 21 and 45 – which is unique in the personal matchmaking industry – with most of our competitors focusing on older age groups.
• We have one of the largest databases of professionals in the UK.
