Breaking up with a partner is never easy. However, there are some right and wrong ways to go about it. It should be common sense what the wrong ways to break up with someone are but it always pays to know how to go about it the right way.   1. Make your decision quickly - If you are going to break up with your partner then do it quickly. Don’t let it linger on and on because it will only become worse with time.   2. Forget staying friends - When breaking up you need to forget about staying friends. Many people think they can remain friends but it’s not something that’s really viable. That person needs to be able to move on with their life and you staying around as a friend will only make things harder for them.
  3. Being honest - Honesty is always the best policy in a situation like this. Don’t lie to your partner about why you want to break up. Just be honest and upfront about everything. If it’s someone you genuinely care about and respect then this should be obvious to you.

Breaking up is never easy but make sure you do it respectfully.
